LOS ANGELES, CA – On Wednesday, October 15th, 2008, one of AArrow Advertising’s First Franchisees, Rich Shope, will attend the Second Annual ‘Honor a Hero, Hire a Vet’ Career Expo and Job Fair in collaboration with the United States Veterans Initiative and the Governor’s Veteran Job Initiative at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S. Figueroa St.  Shope, a former Marine, has been invited by the president of the U.S. Veterans Initiative to speak at the VIP and Sponsor breakfast at 8:30 a.m. about his experience transitioning from military life to climbing the corporate ladder at AArrow.

Shope learned of AArrow Advertising during his time in the military and began following the company’s success, story and future vision. Upon his discharge from working reconnaissance missions for the United States Marine Corps, Shope contacted AArrow Advertising and has quickly moved up the corporate ladder, proving his value with determination, discipline and a strong desire to succeed.  After working in the civilian world for only nine weeks, Rich has generated sales and has been promoted to the position of assistant manager at AArrow Advertising Washington D.C. Headquarters. This month AArrow Advertising is granting franchises and Shope and his business partner are preparing to be the first franchisees.  

AArrow Advertising has worked with the US Veterans Initiative to establish an accelerated management training program specifically for young veterans that will prepare them for franchise operation and ownership in major markets throughout the US. “USVI is delighted that AArrow Advertising will be a participating employer and corporate sponsor at the job fair as this is a great business opportunity for our Veterans and a chance to work with a group of dynamic, entrepreneurial young people who love what they do,” President of US Veterans Initiative Dwight Radcliff said.
