PHOENIX, AZ – On Sunday February 15th, 2009, 944 Magazine is sponsoring AArrow’s Annual Sign Spinning Competition from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the W Scottsdale, 7277 E. Camelback Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona. This annual trademarked event, that is part of AArrow Advertising All-Star Weekend, will feature 16 professional sign spinners, between the ages of 16-24, from San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, New York City, Washington D.C., Raleigh and Southeast Florida competing to win this year’s title and a cash prize. The event aims to find the best sign spinner in the world while showcasing sign spinning as a globally, competitive sport. Those competing in the final rounds of the AArrow Sign Spinning Championship will be spinning custom-made 944 signs for the 2009 All-Star Weekend. The reigning West Coast Champ Matt Doolan and East Coast Champ DiJon Rice are top seeded heading into this final showdown. Each spinner will prepare a choreographed routine to a song, mastered by DJ XXXclusive. All competitors are judged on performance and showmanship, style and originality and technicality of trick knowledge and execution. AArrow Advertising CEO Max Durovic, COO Mike Kenny and a special guest will judge the competition. “Every year, we bring the AArrow All-Stars from around the country to one place so they can share moves, push each other to higher levels of performance and compete for the title, CEO Max Durovic said. “I look forward to working together with 944 in conjunction with this year’s NBA All-Star Game.” AArrow Advertising is a franchise company that provides a unique form of advertising to businesses internationally.
