SAN ANTONIO, TX – AArrow Advertising San Antonio has formed a partnership with the local American Red Cross Chapter. AArrow Sign Spinners have been volunteering by spinning signs that read: Text Haiti to 90999 on street corners to encourage Americans to donate to the Haiti relief efforts. With 40 hours donated to the cause, AArrow Advertising San Antonio has been raising awareness for the Haiti relief efforts by sign spinning at local community colleges, Spurs NBA basketball games and morning and evening drive times on busy street corners. “The American Cross San Antonio Chapter knows how important it is to get the message out to donate to this viable social cause” Community Relations Manager Susie Walker-Atchison said. “The AArrow Sign Spinners can’t be missed and are sure to be a must see along the course of the campaign!” In addition to donating the hours and signs to the American Red Cross, each youth sign spinner is volunteering their own time. The American Red Cross San Antonio Chapter was founded in 1916 to provide support and assistance to the community in and around San Antonio. Ninety three years later, the Chapter serves 2.4 million people in 23 counties across South Central Texas.
