LOS ANGELES, CA – Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the City of Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board identified this years most outstanding partners working with the ‘Hire LA Youth’ program. The award recognizes AArrow Advertising’s exceptional dedication and enthusiastic participation in hiring youth in the Los Angeles area. “AArrow Advertising, through Mike Kenny’s leadership and commitment, has hired many job seekers by offering youth employment, an attractive wage and the desire to succeed,” David Eder of the Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board said. Thomas heard about ‘Hire LA Youth’ and the Work Readiness Program offered to those ages 18-24 and decided to get involved. Once he completed training and was certified, Thomas attended a ‘Hire LA Youth’ job fair and was introduced to AArrow Advertising.
