SOUTH BEACH, FL – See what has consumers’ heads spinning! The AArrow Sign Spinning World Championships are coming to South Florida Super Bowl Weekend. Come to the area outside the NFL Experience Zone at 3:30 pm on Thursday, February 4 and 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6 to see 32 of the fastest and most talented sign spinners vie for the coveted “World’s Best” title. Winners will not only get to wear their sign as a badge of honor, they will also earn money toward a college education and other prizes. Sign spinning has become a non-traditional marketing phenomenon that has been sweeping the nation, and South Florida has been at the epicenter of the craze. There are actual training sessions to teach athletic youth how to turn sign spinning into a work of art. The competition is co sponsored by Pollo Tropical®, a Florida based restaurant chain that was an early adopter of sign spinning as a way to reach consumers during peak drive times in a cost effective manner. Each sign spinner will prepare a choreographed routine to a song of choice. All competitors are judged on performance and showmanship, style and originality, and technicality of trick knowledge and execution. The high toss, longest helicopter and fastest spin are three special event categories that have been added to the competition this year. “Every year, we bring the best sign spinners from around the globe to one place so they can show off skills and push each other to higher levels of performance,” AArrow Advertising COO Michael Kenny said. “The worldwide excitement is increasing everyday to see who the champion will be this year!” AArrow Advertising is a franchise company that provides advertising to businesses internationally.
