If you’ve driven down Eisenhower Drive in Beckley, chances are you’ve noticed something a little different. A Tennessee advertising company has been contracted by a local cellular company to draw in traffic. As cars drive by honking and waving throughout the day, it becomes quite obvious it’s working. Brittany Biggerstaff, a Tennessee native, has been on the job two weeks. Already she’s noticed a lot of people are attracted to her work.
That’s because she’s performing what AArrow Advertising calls, “sign spinning.” Her, and various co-workers, have been driving to the Beckley-area to essentially flip signs. They spin, kick, do back-flips all while pointing cars towards local businesses. According to Jeremy Pickle, the owner of AArrow Advertising Tri-Cities, if things continue to go well they may even open a franchise in Raleigh County.
